Red Bull Music Festival Chicago is bringing together the disparate generations of disc jockeys that have patrolled the counters of the legendary dance music mecca Gramaphone Records.
Coming this Sunday, Gramaphone 50 will take over the whole of Metro and Smartbar. Honoring some 50 years of vinyl slinging, the event features an almost festival-level of Chicago House DJs including Derrick Carter, Ron Trent, Colette, DJ Heather, Steve “Silk” Hurley, Karl Meier, G Most, Jesse de la Pena, Justin Aulis Long, Hector Lopez, DJ Psycho-Bitch, current owner (and Smartbar resident) Michael Serafini, Garrett David and more.
Tickets are now available for $20 (advance only) at redbull.com or $30 at the door.
