“After experiencing his first party in Dallas in 1993, Jason Kidd started buying and playing records with friends. Within the next year Kidd would witness a night with Derrick Carter and Robert Taylor at a Dallas club called SOA that would forever secure a place for House music inside of him. In 1996 Jason Kidd made the fateful relocation from Dallas to Kansas City. After setting dance floors on fire across the Midwest and producing some of his own music for over a decade he took a break to finish school and start a family. Jason has been back playing the circuit for the last three years and this year marks his twentieth as a DJ. The end of 2013 has Kidd celebrating the two-year anniversary of his solo KC residency known as Swell. He can also be found on Chicago House FM (www.chfmworldwide.com) with his weekly show, Swell Radio. Swell Radio airs every Wednesday evening at 9pm – 11pm CST.”
